Broward College’s Nursing Program Receives Stellar NCLEX Ranking

Fort Lauderdale, Fla (March 29, 2018) – The annual National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN®) results were recently released with Broward College ranking the 14 th best out of 50 nursing programs offered throughout Florida.

Broward College's nursing students also earned an impressive 93.4 percent pass rate, significantly outperforming all other proprietary Florida schools and surpassing the annual National average of 87.1 percent and Florida's average pass rate of 73.99 percent.

All students who meet the educational and institutional requirements for an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Broward College are eligible to have their name submitted to the Florida Board of Nursing to be considered as a candidate for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). The Florida Board of Nursing is the state agency authorized to determine if the applicant qualifies to take the NCLEX-RN for licensure as a registered nurse. For licensure requirements, refer to sections 464.008 and 464.009, Florida Statutes (F.S.), Rules 64B9-3.002 and 3.008, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.).
